张旺玺，教授，硕士生导师，1989年毕业于成都科技大学化学纤维专业。1997年在中国纺织大学取得硕士学位，2003年在山东大学博士研究生毕业、取得博士学位。2003——2005年，在北京化工大学进行博士后研究工作。2006年在英国曼彻斯特大学作一年的访问学者。现任中原工学院材料与化工学院院长，河南省青年骨干教师，河南省教育厅学术技术带头人，中原工学院省级重点学科材料学学科带头人，材料与化工学院功能纤维材料校级重点实验室主任，校学术委员会委员，《中原工学院学报》编委，中国化学会会员。

作为负责人或主要研究者完成了国家自然科学基金项目、国家863计划、省科技攻关计划项目8项。目前主持河南省科技攻关计划、省杰出科研人才创新工程等项目3项。出版专著和教材2部，获得国家发明专利授权1项，在国内外Carbon等著名期刊发表学术论文70多篇，其中被SCI，EI收录15篇。
